About Mia Eames

I am a freelance sound and video producer based in Central Scotland. I have a background in music as a flute and piano player. For the past 4 years I have advanced my skills and knowledge in audio pre/post production. I have a year experience in broadcast (mainly through voluntary placements that I have organised), with Heartland Media Hub, a radio station based in Perthshire, captivating and engaging content in a fast turn-around environment.

I’ve worked with a number of clients in podcast editing, audio editing, music producing, recording and mixing. I have produced and edited content, from music, to podcasts, interviews, game trailers and advert promos for the radio. For the past year I have also built up experience in video editing creating, lyric music videos, video adverts, title sequence, interview videos, and videos for social media content.

I am a creative, calm, communicative and respectful engineer that is able to work well under pressure and has the initiative and experience to work independently or as part of a team.

As well as editing, I have experience in music producing and songwriting for singers, musicians, background music, social media posts and video content.

With a background of being brought up by visual artists in the creative industry, I have experience in designing websites, mobile apps, artwork for music and social media posts for singers and musicians.
